Myoporum laetum 'Decumbens'
Large shrub with a bushy ground covering habit, wide spreading branches. The glossy green long leaves have conspicuous oil glands. It has clusters of white spotted with purple flowers, followed by small reddish purple fruit. First collected from the Poor Knights Island. It is frost tender until established, then can survive moderate frost. Fantastic for coastal walls, over rocks. Will survive sea spray. Grows in most well drained soils, tolerates dry, coastal and exposed sites.
