CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A much branched small tree, with clusters of huge oblong mid green glossy leaves, crowded at the end of stout branches. Clusters of small green flowers, followed by green then black berries. Tree has a very tropical appearance. Prefers good well drained soil that does not get too dry. Does not grow in frosty areas but will grow in windy and coastal sites. Grows naturally on the Three Kings, and Hen and Chicken Islands. Wonderful planted in a place where you can look down on the magnificent leaves.
