Hoheria angustifolia
Small graceful narrow tree. Branches slender, bark reddish brown. It has distinctive dense small green foliage, varying leaf forms will appear on one plant as it develops adult foliage. When in full bloom in summer it is completely covered with masses of white flowers. Hardy in most conditions, though prefers good soil. Occurs naturally in lowland and hilly forests of New Zealand, south of Hawke's Bay. May prune to shape.
