CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Medium sized grass, forms bold clumps of flowing stems and foliage. The long flat leaves are green, turning golden brown in the sun. The flowering stems are very graceful. The tiny flowers go a beautiful rosy red. Ideal as a ground cover under trees, though will grow in the open. Avoid coastal sites. Hardy to dry. Seedlings often spread around the mother plant. Occurs naturally on both Islands, mainly on the eastern side.
