CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Beautiful erect shrub with dark green leaves. The flowers range from pink to crimson and have the most delicious perfume. Crimson berries in Autumn. Alseuosmia means 'sweet grove'. It's favourite place to grow is in a old half rotten log in shade with good compost. Needs perfect drainage. Grows naturally in lowland hilly forests and Kauri forests. North Island and northern and west South Island.
