Cunonia capensis
Fast growing African plant that can develop into a rounded tree in ideal conditions. Attractive shiny leaves that have bronzy-red new growth the shape of a butter-knife, this matures in a dark green with a reddish tinge. Clusters of small cream flowers densely crowded on long spikes in summer. Shade or sun. Avoid heavy frost or very dry sites.
