Cordyline terminalis 'Nigra'
A cabbage tree from the Pacific Islands. This plant forms a clump of many trunks, each topped with broad lush almost black foliage. As it matures it has bold heads of purple-white flowers followed by small berries. It needs protection from frost, grows in many soil conditions but prefers not to dry out. Protection from wind and hot sun will allow this plant to reach it's full potential.
