Coprosma acerosa. Te Puna (Hawera)
Picturesque very flat ground cover which forms a spreading prostrate mound of intertwining creamy brown branchlets. The long narrow leaves are olive green. Tiny flowers will form iridescent blue berries if fertilised. Grows well in poor, dry, sandy soils. Great for coastal and exposed sites. Very hardy.
