Magnolia 'Iolanthe'
Vigorous tree, large mid green leaves. Large, cup shaped flowers of pink, tinged lavender and cream inside, opening from huge, furry buds in mid-spring. Extremely, prolific and blooms longer than most other Magnolias. A tree in full bloom being a most impressive sight. A world famous hybrid bred by Mark Jury. Deciduous. Hardy, though best in a sheltered site with good soil.
