Ceanothus papillosus x thyrsiflorus 'Joyce Coulter'.
Low spreading evergreen shrub with dense, trailing stems holding polished glossy green leaves. Clusters of abundant gentian-blue flowers in late winter and spring contrast with the dark foliage. Hardy for most conditions, prefers sun and free draining soil. Good for coastal sites. Very effective ground cover.
