Clematis 'Gipsy Queen'
Deciduous climber. Beautiful large showy flowers 15 cm wide with a velvety violet purple. Reddish purple anthers. Flowers late summer/Autumn. They flower on last season's growth, so prune only the dead and weak stems out in late winter. Trim to shape after flowering. Best planted with the roots in shade. Great twinning through trees.
