Clivia miniata 'Grandiflora'
Evergreen clump-forming perennial with glossy dark green strap-shaped leaves. In summer stems of large fragrant orange flowers appear above the leaves. They grow best in a shady, frost-free site. Will grow in very dry conditions, though summer watering will encourage more flowers. Best left alone, without root disturbance for best results. Fabulous as an understory below trees.
