Camellia japonica 'Red Red Rose'
Erect narrow shrub with glossy green leaves. Through mid to late spring the bush is covered with medium formal double deep red flowers. Lovely as a standard or hedge as clips well. Hardy. Prefers a sheltered site with good soil, though will tolerate dry conditions.
