CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Clump forming low growing fern that grows from a woody rhizome. Forms a dense crown of broad lush fronds. Frond surface can be mid green but usually dark green, sometimes a dull red. Abundant throughout New Zealand. Easy to grow. Prefers a semi-shaded site, with a little filtered sunlight. Tolerates poor soil. Hardy. Though much larger and more luxuriant with good rainfall and soil.
