Compact ground cover perennial, with maidenhair-like deciduous leaves which emerge light green. Spikes of cup-shaped snow white delicate flowers on spikes appear in spring. Best in a shaded site, not too dry. Woodland plant, native to coniferous woodland. Very hardy, great ground cover to naturalise under trees.
