Justicia brandegeana
Syn. Beloperone guttatta. Rounded shrub with a slightly weeping habit. Soft shining green leaves on soft branchlets. Flowers are drooping terminal spikes of orange-red bracts. Each bract houses a tubular white flower. This causes the blooms to resemble highly stylized shrimp. It will flower all year around in a warm frost free site. Very tolerant of dry conditions, which makes this a very useful plant. Semi-shade prefered.
