Pieris japonica 'Mountain Fire'
Decorative colourful evergreen shrub. Forms a neat compact bush with glossy deep green leaves. New growth in spring is a colourful fiery crimson before turning deep green. Dense panicles of fragrant ivory-white waxy flowers cover the shrub in spring. Grows best in good soil that does not get too dry, and semi-shaded site. Hardy to cold.
