Hardy vigorous shrub with grey-green leaves which emerge from white-felted shoots. Masses of very fragrant mauve-blue flowers through the summer and autumn, full of necter to attract butterflies. Prefers a sunny site. Trim hard after flowering, to encourage repeat flowering.
