Lovely tendril climbing deciduous ornamental grape vine. Attractive leaves are white-downy when young, becoming claret red through summer, then deepening to rich dark purple in Autumn. Inedible dark purple fruit is attractive in autumn. Besy planted in a sunny site, tolerates dry once established.
