Acer
Small, deciduous rounded tree with slender upright branching. Gorgeous ornamental exfoliating copper orange to cinnamon reddish/brown bark stays on the trunk. Trifoliate leaves are green above, but frosty blue-green to gray-green, turning a showy orange to red in autumn. It is native to mixed forests in central China. Hardy to cold. Prefers a sheltered site with good soil.
