Rhododendron 'Winsome'
Compact, vigorous shrub which forms a rounded shape. Long, narrow, strap-like leaves, are coppery when young, hairy, turning dark green with age. Funnel shaped and wavy edged flowers in loose pendant racemes in great profusion, are rosy-red in bud opening glowing cerise pink. Flowers freely in mid spring. Needs shelter from wind. Prefers semi-shade, and good soil that does not get too dry.
