Polygala myrtifolia 'Grandiflora'
Erect bushy shrub with long oval mid-green leaves. Pea-like rich mauve-purple flowers appear on the tips of the stems almost all year around. Very showy. Best grown in a sunny warm site, will grow in almost any soil, however looks best in well fertilised good soil. Best to trim the long stems back annually to maintain a dense bushy shape. It does not rejuvenate well if cut back too hard. Avoid cold frosty sites.
