CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION

Vigorous rounded shrub. The oval leaves are variegated with large central yellowish green zone and irregular narrow green margins carried on reddish stems. Great as a feature or a hedge. Very dark maroon, almost black flowers in spring. Hardy to most soil conditions, avoid wet ground. Will always look its best in good soil. Frost and wind hardy. Best to trim annually to maintain shape and encourage fresh new foliage.
