Philadelphus x virginalis 'Virginal'
Hardy shrub grown for its heavily fragrant double white flowers in spring. Mid green leaves. Best planted in a mixed shrubbery in a sheltered site. Best to prune out old stems in winter. Very hardy to cold, will tolerate poor soils but will thrive with more care.
