Wisteria sinensis 'Blue Sapphire'
A most vigorous and beautiful climber. This plant flowers in early spring as the bronze leaves emerge. Leaves turn a dark green. The flower racemes are 30 cm long, densely packed with blue-violet flowers. Flowers have a sweet scent. Very hardy. Prune after flowering and in the winter if necessary. Good for pergolas and walls.
