Wisteria florabunda 'Ed's Blue Dragon'
A most vigorous and beautiful climber. This plant flowers in late spring as the pale bronze-green leaves emerge. Leaves turn a dark green. The flower racemes are densely packed with long trails of fragrant, double, purple flowers. Flowers have a sweet scent. Very hardy. Prune after flowering and in the winter if necessary. Wisteria should be lightly pruned each year to encourage flowering. Good for pergolas where the flowers can hang down or walls.
