Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum 'Mariesii'
Beautiful shrub, broad spreading, horizontally branched. Deeply veined dark green leaves, these turn purple-red in autumn. White lace-cap clusters of flowers are borne along the length of the branches in spring and are spectacular, followed by red berries. Great plant to soften vertical elements and upright plants. Best in good soil, that retains moisture. Hardy.
