Salvia corrugata
Medium sized perennial shrub. Dark olive-green leaves. Late summer are brilliant blue-purple. Occurs naturally in Columbia, Peru and Ecuador, where it thrives in the Andes Mountains at 8000 to 8900 feet. It likes full sun and regular water, with rich, well drained soils. Tolerates some frost if grown in free draining soil and a sunny site.
