Dwarf compact shrub with a spreading habit. Soft bristly-hairy mid-green long leaves. Masses of fragrant white flowers in early spring. Sun or shade. Flowers freely in early to mid spring. Needs shelter from wind. Prefers semi-shade, and good soil that does not get too dry. Hardy.
