Retama monosperma
Graceful shrub which can develop a number of trunks. Long pendulous silvery-green stems weeping almost to ground. In spring and summer it has tiny, white fragrant flowers, with a purple calyx massed along the stems. Grows naturally in sandy soils. Best in a sunny site. Spectacular.
