Quintinia acutifolia
Handsome small tree with long glossy bronzy-green marbled leaves. Foliage turns a rich mahogany in the cold months. In summer it has showy white flowers which look great with the bold foliage. Occurs naturally in lowland and montane forests on both islands. It is hardy but grows best in good deep soils with ample moisture. Wonderful for providing texture to a bush planting.
