Protea neriifolia 'Margaret Watling'
Large rounded shrub. The attractive, lime-green bracts surrounded by maroon beard in winter. Useful for picking. Will grow in most well drained, acidic soils in an open, sunny position. Water deeply during prolonged periods of drought while young. Tolerant to light frosts and suitable for coastal conditions. Prune back after flowering.
