Podocarpus totara 'Matapouri Blue'
Selection of the NZ native totara with blue to smoky grey foliage. It is slow growing and trims well into a tight hedge for wind and visual protection. Left untrimmed it has an upright pyramidal habit and forms a fantastic specimen tree. Best in full sun to retain colour. Good for toparies as well as standards, Very wind and frost hardy. Grows in dry to very moist soil conditions. Full sun to part shade.
