Pittosporum anomalum
A small shrub which develops a slender trunk with rigid branchlets. Juvenile leaves are dark green and coarsely toothed, adult leaves aromatic and entire. Single dark yellow flowers in spring. Avoid very dry sites, hardy to cold. Found naturally, though endanaged, in Canterbury.
