Pimelea urvilleana
NZ native small prostrate shrub growing on the coast, on rocky outcrops, cliffs and sometimes in scrub. The branchlets densely covered by matted white hair. Grey green leaves. The older grey brown stems are slightly hairy. Small white flowers. Endemic to coastal areas from Northland south to the Wairarapa and south Taranaki. In the South Island it is found in Tasman Bay (Astrolabe Passage) and Marlborough Sounds.
