Phormium 'Majestic Rage'
Wharariki. Large perennial with rich purple long leathery erect sword like leaves with drooping tips, arranged in fans. A triumphant flax. Graceful weeping habit, the colour never fades. Tall stems of green tinged orange flowers in spring, loved by the Tuis for their abundant nectar. These are followed by pendulous twisted seed capsules. Very tolerant of many soils and conditions. Best in fertile soil to maintain the best colour. The colourful foliage looks great against green and sliver foliage.
