Phlomis russelliana
Tall perennial with thick, soft, velvety, gray leaves which typically form a spreading mat. Leaves can be evergreen in warm climates. Tall flowering stems clothed with whorls of creamy yellow flowers appear in summer rising above the foliage. Sun or light shade, great for dry sites and light soils. Must have good drainage.
