Nandina domestica 'Richmond'
Decorative bamboo-like shrub with elegant reddish cane- like stems, leaves turning green to purplish-red and orange with the seasons. Masses of scarlet-red berries held in large pyramidal panicles above the foliage, winter to spring. Slowly suckers to form a dense clump. Discovered in Richmond, Nelson. Hardy for most sites.
