Metrosideros collina 'Tahiti'
This shrub selected from Tahiti forms a compact low-growing bush. It has silvery new foliage, emerging from red buds, that matures to grey-green. Showy clusters of orange-red flowers appear sporadically throughout the year. It grows well by the coast in areas that only get very little frost. Hardy to dry conditions once established. Fantastic as a container plant or an informal low hedge.
