Jacaranda mimosaefolia.
Beautiful flowering tree with a wide spreading habit. Dark green foliage. In summer it has clusters of glorious mauve blue flowers which are most spectacular. For best growth and flowering avoid cold frosty sites, it far prefers a long hot summer. Protect from cold winds. Excellent as a specimen tree over a BBQ area.
