Helenium 'Autumn lollipop'
Perennial with a basel clump of green leaves. In summer it has round bronze brown flowers top of a basal frill of down-turned petals that sit on flat stems. An excellent choice as a cut flower. Plant in full sun for best flowering although a little light shade is fine. These plants like regular moisture found naturally growing by creeks so mulching will help to retain moisture and watering regularly during dry spells will ensure profuse flowering. Loved by both bees and butterflies and birds love the seed. Great also for pots.
