Hoheria populnea 'Albo Variegata'
Small handsome erect tree. Branches stout and ascending. It has distinctive dense dark green leaves, heavily margined with creamy white. When in full bloom in summer it is completely covered with masses of white flowers. Hardy in most conditions, though prefers good soil. Best planted in semi-shade in areas with hot dry summers. May prune to shape. It originated in Duncan and Davis' Nurseries in New Plymouth.
