Gaura lindheimeri 'Siskiyou Pink'
       
    
Oenothera lindheimeri 'Siskiyou Pink'  Erect, clump-forming perennial. Has butterfly-like flowers which emerge rose pink from deep maroon buds spring to autumn. Narrow leaves are mottled with maroon. Best grown in well-drained soil in full sun. Good drainage is essential. A taprooted plant which tolerates heat, humidity and some drought. Remove spent flowers to prolong bloom period. Plants can benefit from close planting or support from adjacent perennial. May be cut back in late spring by half to control size.
