Daphne 'Sweet Amethyst'
An bushy open shrub with long glossy green leaves. Clusters of beautiful light purple flowers with a deliciously sweet perfume appear in spring. The flowers are intensely fragrant. It is a hardy shrub but must have reasonable compost enriched soil, and should not be allowed to get too dry. Prefers a sunny open site. Every garden must have one. Plant by a doorway or under a window to really appreciate the fragrance.
