Clematis 'Ville de Lyon'
Spectacular deciduous climber. Large carmine-red flowers shading to deep crimson round edges, darker in bud, yellow anthers. Flowering late spring. Great for climbing through trees or shrubs. They flower on new season's growth, so prune back to two strong buds late winter. Best results from good pruning, top in full sun, and with the roots planted in the shade.
