CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A cabbage tree from the Pacific Islands. This plant forms a clump of many trunks, each topped with broad lush almost black foliage. As it matures it has bold heads of purple-white flowers followed by small berries. It needs protection from frost, grows in many soil conditions but prefers not to dry out.
