Clematis macropetala 'Lagoon'
Deciduous climber with fresh green leaves. Deep lavander-blue lantern-like flowers, semi-double with white stamens, in early spring. Best planted with the roots in the shade. Very hardy. Avoid wet ground. Good for small gardens. They flower on last season's growth, so prune only the dead and weak stems out in late winter.
