Chionocloa rubra.
Tall robust tussock with fine gracefully flowing foliage that shimmers in the wind. Foliage is a greenish tawny colour going red or coppery in the cold. Prefers an open site with good moisture for best results. Wonderful landscape plant. Very cold hardy.
