Bupleurum fruticosum
Hardy evergreen shrub with grey-green foliage and unique, chartreuse-yellow flowers. Mediterranean native forms a dense, rounded habit, and its umbel-shaped flowers appear in summer, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Robust and drought-tolerant. Good for informal hedging, mixed shrub borders, or coastal gardens, resilient to salt spray. Provides texture and structure. The flowers are great in floral arrangements, both fresh and dried. Thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained soil, tolerating sandy or rocky conditions.
