Boronia megastigma
A slender shrub with small light to bright green heath-like leaflets. These turn brown-green in a cold climate. The tips of the slender branchlets are pendulous with highly fragrant cupped flowers in spring, purplish brown on the outside and lemon-yellow. Plant to protect from the hot sun, morning sun OK. Trim lightly after flowering. Grows best in ground with good soil and that does not get too dry. May not live long but the sweet fragrance is so worth the effort.
